    Description

    Stunning vintage William "Billy"
    Letcher Fixed Blade Hunting Knife. Drop point blade is
    high-polish stainless steel with laminated wood scales and stamped brass pins w/design. Hollow grind with polished edge. Very fine polish on blade and tang, guessing steel is likely ATS-34 based on what this maker commonly used. This is some of Billy's later work, he was a master bladesmith in Florida with a career that spanned decades. Laminated scales (looks similar to Dymondwood) with different layers stained different colors for a variegated look. Brass pins are hand-stamped with a small floral or plant motif. No sheath no box. 3.95

    Never cut or carried, but listing as used due to a few tiny scratches from storage (previous owner not me!), visible only when light is at certain angles, pictured in last picture as clearly as I can show it.
