Buffalo Pottery Deldare "The Fallowfield Hunt" Ceramic Tankard | 1908/Signed
A beautiful hand-painted colonial tavern scene depicting "The Hunt Supper" with border design of period houses and the countryside. The piece is signed by the artist, M. Sned near bottom of handle. Printed mark on base of a Buffalo over sign reading "Made at ye BUFFALO POTTERY | DELDARE WARE UNDERGLAZE" and 1908 date mark.
It measures about 12-1/4" tall and is almost 6" diameter at base.
Good condition but does have a crack on the bottom that was repaired. Also, some crazing as expected with pieces of this age.
