    Description

    USO SCRAPBOOK WITH 71 PAGES OF MATERIAL (1944-1946)
    This is a large seventy-one page scrapbook titled
    "My USO Scrap Book".
    The scrapbook dates from 1944 to 1946,
    and measures 10 x 11 3/4 inches. It contains numerous letters, photographs, postcards, playbills, ephemera, newspaper articles, etc., mostly dealing with USO posts located in Waynesville, Missouri; Rapid City, South Dakota; Evansville & Marshall, Indiana; and Table Grove, Illinois. There is also content from Chicago, Philadelphia and New York City.
    The scrapbook was made by Bernadine Ruth Sunderlin (1919-1973) of Iowa. She was the daughter of Rev. Marion Lee Sunderlin (1885-1974) and Mabel Grace Jordan Sunderlin (1883–1971).
